Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Precision Ceres Insulation Services handles the information you share when you visit our website, call us or ask for an estimate. We're an insulation contractor in Ceres, CA, and we collect only what we need to answer you, look at your house and do the work.
It applies to this website and to the estimate requests, calls and messages that come through it. You can read more about who we are on our about page.
What we collect when you contact us
When you fill out our estimate form or reach out to us, you may give us:
Your name, phone number and email address, so we can reply.
Your street address or city, so we know where the house is and can schedule a visit.
Details about the job, such as a hot upstairs room, a drafty attic, a crawl space or how old the house is, so we come out prepared.
Any photos or notes you choose to send.
Our estimate form is run by an outside form service, which receives what you type and passes it to us. We don't ask for payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive details through the website.
Analytics and cookies
Like most websites, ours may use cookies, which are small files your browser stores, and basic analytics tools to see how people use the site. That tells us things like which pages get visited, roughly where visitors are coming from, what kind of device they use and how they found us, so we can tell whether the site is answering the questions people bring to it.
This information is collected in a general way and isn't used to figure out who you are. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work for reading and contacting us.
How we use your information
We use what you share to answer your questions, schedule and carry out your estimate, do the work you book with us and follow up afterward. We may also use it to keep basic job records, handle billing and stand behind our work if something needs a second look.
We won't add you to a marketing list you didn't ask for, and we don't sell your personal information to anyone.
Who we share it with
We share your information only when it's needed to run the business or do your job. That can include the services that host our website, process our form and handle our email and phone, and a supplier or office that needs an address to deliver material or review the work.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our crew, our customers or the business. Outside of that, your details stay with us.
How long we keep it
If you send a request and don't book, we keep your details only as long as it's useful to follow up on that request. If we do the work, we keep job records for as long as we need them for warranty questions, billing, taxes and other legal reasons.
When we no longer need the information, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. We'll do that unless we have to keep something for a legal or business record, and if so we'll tell you what and why.
If you live in California, state privacy law may give you more rights over your information, and we'll honor those requests when they apply. We won't treat you differently for asking.
Children's privacy
This website is meant for homeowners and property owners, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us, such as limiting who on our team can see it and using reputable services to host the site and handle the form. No website or email system is completely secure, so please don't send anything through the site you wouldn't want stored in an email.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our tools or the law change. The newest version will always be on this page, and it applies from the time it's posted.
How to raise a privacy concern
If you have a question about your information, want a copy of it or want it removed, call us at (209) 225-2797 or reach us through our contact page. Tell us what you're asking for and how we contacted you before, so we can find the right records.
We'll get back to you within 1 business day to confirm we got your request, and then let you know what we've done.
